Some people may have the idea that having fragrant meat (dog meat) is totally cruel to the pet kingdom. But, the dish is famous across Mizoram. It is often cooked with a green leave called "phuinam" or those more adventurous ones prepared "uisa chartang" fry which is seasoned with lots of species like ginger, garlic, chilli and oil. You may not get it in the hotels, but locals often sell in the open market.
