Aizawl, June 17 (Mizonews.Net): After being alerted about the prevalence of discrepancy in the selection of beneficiaries under NLUP 2nd & 3rd phase and Supplementary List (4th phase), NLUP Implementing Board has decided to cancel names of those selected fraudulently.
The NLUP Board has learnt that in the selection of beneficiaries there are some who have been included in the beneficiary list but in complete violation of the Guidelines given in NLUP Manual Chapter III. More than one beneficiary was selected from one family and even in some cases family in which wife/husband/son/daughter or any one are government servant were also selected as NLUP beneficiary.
Following this learnt discrepancy, all the Deputy Commissioners in the State are given direction to conduct review on the list of NLUP 2nd & 3rd phase and Supplementary List (4th phase).
Moreover, all the NLUP Implementing Committee and NLUP Monitoring Committee members and anyone across the State, who came to know this kind of discrepancy, are also requested to give information of the same, if come to know, to their respective district Deputy Office not later than June 21, 2013.
The government sources giving this information added that any complaint given later than the stipulated time will go unattended.
